Images from a training hike to the archaeological site of Pisac. With a lot of effort, we made it to 3500 m. This is all in preparation for a five day four night camping hike to an isolated Inca site Choquequirao which we will be doing with Alpaca Expeditions next week. The stunning scenery, history and isolation is motivation, but we’re nervous about it #peru #choquequirao #alpacaexpeditions

This morning, here in New York City I stopped by the studio to pick up my sneakers and other paraphernalia to go to the gym. I had extra time so decided to put the finishing touches on this painting. I had to paint a straight line. It turns out there was a 4.7 earthquake going on as I was painting and I did not feel it!
